Hot Water

Keith | 11 November 08 | Add your comment

I mentioned briefly how I bought an electric hot water heater in order to heat my water now that the oil furnace is shut down. This is a smater way to heat my water, but I know it’s still not the “greenest” way to develop my energy needs.

So, I’m going to add a solar panal to help heat my water. Solar panals are currently one of the best deals going. I’m short on specific details, but I know between the State and the Federal government, you can expect to get about half the cost of a panal reimbursed. The easiest way to begin using solar energy, is to use the sun’s energy to heat your hot water. Plus, with the rebates I mentioned, now is the best time to take advantage of this technology.
